Wherever we stay in this world the place always has it`s own beauty, but do we have time to behold? I often hear, lamenting over the clamour of Mumbai but I wonder, how many times we have gazed at the jay blue ocean turning to amber froth with hovering orange sky cradling the sun set? Might be only when some relatives visit and we are obliged to show them Juhu beach... No??
Simply take a break...
A day out at Sanjay Gandhi National Park-Borivali :-
I saw a post on my G+ account by a friend where a girl falls hard while trying her luck on bicycle. It shot me back to the remembrance of childhood. Oh yes! I almost forgot there are paddles beside daily life`s clutch-break-accelerator which need your muscle power more than CC power.
A total adrenalin experience:-

A total adrenalin experience:-
Hired a bike planned to ride to Kanheri caves to behold the ``The Silence`` which tells many stories. Muscle pulled up hard, long time soft life taken a toll on the strength. Sweat streams down the temple strides through my shirt. I can make it, I whispered. Yes I can! The breeze is getting hot, the mulchy smell of the wood refills the lungs. A soft beep brings me down to the verisimilitude of existence of others. A car with foreigners. A beautiful golden hair semblance of Goldie Hawn smiled from the aperture `` Do you need a lift?`` My sun tanned coffee face appealed her. ``No Ma`am . Thanks! It`s really sweet of you. I am taxing my strength.`` I smiled back. She left wondering my pathological anomaly?? May be.
Moniker unknown. Blue hue ignites the declivity, shilly shallying to enrapture the passer by? They dance their beauty, will you stop to behold? They quench the long lust thirst of bleak eyes. But what about the corporeal aqua thirst ? The body felt desiccating alive. Like the mycelium below.
There she is to allay the dehydration.
How far it is the caves? I yearned. 15 minutes Madam she replied. Up up the acclivity ... how far it is?? The road veers to left. Serendipity... I am back to 11th century and beyond.
The enthralling facade keeps you splendor stupor. All excavated in the rocks. How they did it so many years back? History never stops nonplussing me.
The cave excavation started as early as third century B.C (ref: www.mumbaikarsforsgnp.com). It was a major Buddhist centre between first century B.C.E to 11th century C.E.
The monolithic bas reliefs on basaltic rock reflect the stellar architectural splendor of Hinayana and Mahayana sects of Buddhism.
The eight hundred year old couple or might be more years of togetherness.
How many congression held here by the revered Monks?..
Up up the hills towards the ascetic hermit of sublime Buddhist Saints-the caves lure to unfurl untold stories.
The historical splendor dispels geographic or religious distance and can create a microcosm of our Global village.
Came here, fell in love with you, now time to leave but can`t take off my eyes away from you.I will be back again and again.
Other major attraction in Sanjay Gandhi National Park is Lion/Tiger Safari. The unkempt sign board is a poignancy though.
It`s a 20 minutes safari through the jungle and we were lucky enough to get cameo of his Highness and close up of some placid eyed beauties.
Way back to the main gate under the canopy of humongous trees and the green lake abutting the road.
“Never say goodbye because goodbye means going away and going away means forgetting.”
― J.M. Barrie, Peter Pan
No it can`t happen. Try yourself ,embrace the experience, you will understand, it`s unforgettable.
